Overview

Nestled on the first floor of Bangsar Shopping Centre, Busaba Heavenly Thai, BSC offers a sophisticated dining experience rooted in authentic Thai flavors. This restaurant, located at F15, Jalan Maarof, Kuala Lumpur, skillfully balances traditional taste with a contemporary setting, making it a popular choice for those seeking premium Thai cuisine in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The ambiance reflects a blend of cozy elegance and subtlety, setting the tone for a relaxed yet refined meal. Soft background music and tasteful décor create a soothing environment that complements the dining experience without overwhelming the senses. While the service is generally commendable and swift, some diners note that the finesse expected at a fine dining Thai restaurant can occasionally be lacking, though the staff remains attentive and friendly throughout the visit.

Busaba Heavenly Thai’s menu showcases well-curated dishes emphasizing depth and freshness. Signature plates such as Pandan Leaves Chicken and the classic Green Curry capture the bold, fragrant spices characteristic of Thai cuisine, designed to be enjoyed alongside complimentary white rice to balance their intensity. Other highlights include the aromatic Steamed Fish and the visually and texturally satisfying Miang Kham, a traditional Thai appetizer offering a burst of flavors wrapped in betel leaves.

For those with a penchant for seafood, the Thai Style Fried Rice with Crab Meat presents a savory, slightly sweet profile typical of coastal Thai dishes, while the Fish Cakes and Thai Omelette add variety and a sampled taste of local favorites. Desserts hold a special place here, with Mango Sticky Rice and Res Ruby Water Chestnuts drawing considerable praise for their authentic sweetness and perfect texture, leaving a memorable conclusion to the meal.

Customer experiences reflect a generally positive consensus with an emphasis on strong, authentic flavors and well-prepared courses. The clear Tom Yum soup is often singled out for its rich, spicy broth, paired with fresh ingredients that deliver an enjoyable balance of heat and sourness. Meanwhile, the Coconut Soup and Papaya Salad offer refreshing contrasts with layered tastes and textures. Some might find a few dishes like the Red Curry and Pineapple Fried Rice on the sweeter side, highlighting the restaurant’s alignment with traditional Thai flavor profiles, which favor a harmony of sweet, salty, and spicy elements.

This establishment serves a discerning clientele who appreciate a higher-end Thai dining experience without drifting into overly casual or overly formal territory. Halal-conscious diners will welcome its inclusive approach, expanding its appeal within the diverse Kuala Lumpur dining scene. The portion sizes are generous enough to satisfy hearty appetites without overwhelming the table, aligning well with its strategic location inside a bustling shopping centre where patrons seek both convenience and quality.

In summary, Busaba Heavenly Thai, BSC stands out as a refined destination for authentic Thai cuisine with a rich menu crafted to please various palates. Its soothing environment, strong service ethic, and flavorful dishes make it a recommended stop for anyone exploring quality Thai food in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s Bangsar district.

One of the high end Thai food. The food is not bad and I love the flavors here. It’s a bit pricy but if you have their app, you will get a 10% discount. Would recommend to try if you happened to be in BCS. Their dessert is really good and I don’t have any photos to post as I didn’t order any. Have tried before so I would recommend.

Overall the experience was quite good at this restaurant. The service and environment were great. Food wise I would recommend the coconut soup which was quite nice. The papaya salad was very good, recommend this dish. The red curry was not bad but a little too salty and sweet for my taste, but maybe best to serve with plain rice. The pineapple fried rice was has its own uniqueness but just a bit too sweet for my taste. The Pad Thai, pandan chicken were normal, not too bad but not outstanding either.

Premium quality Thai food as compared to other Absolute Thai restaurants. The food has a strong flavour, so will go well with white rice. The service is good as well.

Warm and cosy halal Thai restaurant at BSC. Deco and ambience is pretty good. Background music is also not too loud. Food service is fast but table service lacks the finese and attentiveness for a Thai fine dining establishment. The food taste and quality is quite good hence they deserve a 4 star from me. Portions arw reasonbaly sized and prices ranges from RM30++ which is not too exorbitant. Highly recommended for a visit.
